Dear students and parents,

My name is Charlotte Wichert. This year, I will be teaching French 2, 3, 4 and 5AP. I started working at Nicolet High School in 2015. I am very much looking forward to a new school year!
I am from Lyon, France. I studied World Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Lyon 2 as well as at the University of California Los Angeles. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in 2012. I studied World Language Education at the University of Sorbonne Paris 3 as well as at UW-Milwaukee and graduated with my Master's degree in 2014. I conducted my Master's thesis research on second language acquisition and the teaching of world languages in an urban educational setting. I moved to Milwaukee from France in 2013. I completed my teaching licensure at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Go Panthers!)
Before coming to Nicolet High School, I taught French at UW-Milwaukee as an Associate Lecturer as well as at the French Alliance of Milwaukee.
I enjoy musical theatre, traveling to and exploring new countries, downhill skiing, and French cinema.
À bientôt en classe de français!
Mme. Wichert
