I am excited to begin at Nicolet for the 2025-2026 school year in the role of supporting students who are English learners.  You can find me in the Knight Center!

Before coming to Nicolet, I was at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for 8 years teaching future educators how to support multilingual learners as well as supervising student teachers.  I am a lifelong learner who has taught on the Texas-Mexico border, in a dual language (Spanish-English) setting, a career education program at a high school, and even taught Baby Sign Language to parents after learning it with my own kids!  I speak Spanish and love to practice!  I studied social work at Miami University and have an M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame as well as certifications in ESL and bilingual (Spanish).

I live in Whitefish Bay with my husband and three kids.  We love to explore the great outdoors and have camped four times this summer, as well as visiting Shenandoah and Mammoth Caves National Parks this past year!  I appreciate the warm welcome to Nicolet and am excited to meet all of you!
