Hello!

My name is Victoria Idstein and this is my fifth year as a teacher at Nicolet High School. This semester, I will be teaching English 10. I couldn’t be more excited for second semester to get underway!

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2011 with degrees in both English and Spanish. While a student at UW, I had the opportunity to study abroad for a year in Madrid, Spain. This experience fostered my love of the Spanish language and culture and inspired to me pursue a degree in teaching. After completing my Bachelor’s degrees, I attended Marquette University where I received my teaching certification and my Master’s degree in Educational Policy and Leadership. Finally, I received my Master's in Language and Literacy from Cardinal Stritch University in 2019.

I appreciate the opportunity to work with your students as they develop as both readers and writers throughout their journey at Nicolet. In English 10, we focus on developing foundational skills that will allow students to communicate effectively and respectfully in their academics and beyond!

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions that you or your students have throughout the year.

Go Knights!
