Hello, I'm Dr. Gerard Cappello ( I go by Dr. Cap) and this year I will be serving as the Testing Service and Knight Center Student Support Team Paraprofessional.  I've been working with staff and students at Nicolet since December 2019 in numerous capacities.  I've also spent time working as the Work Based Learning/Youth Apprenticeship Facilitator with the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District.  

Prior to relocating to Wisconsin in 2019,  I spent 9+ years teaching High School College and Career Preparation, as well as Aerospace Science/Leadership Education (AFJROTC) at Buckeye Union High School in Buckeye, Arizona.  While at Buckeye, I served as the Head Wrestling Coach for over 6 seasons and as the Assistant Head Cross Country Coach. 

In addition I spent 26 years on Active Duty with the United States Air Force earning the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (Command Chief) serving in locations around the world.  

I completed my Bachelor of General Studies (Humanities) from LA Tech University, my Master of Science Degree in Technology Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, and my Doctor of Education in Teaching and Learning (k-12) from Argosy University (Phoenix).  I also earned three Associate in Applied Science Degrees from the Community College of the Air Force.
