Hello, I'm Dr. Gerard Cappello and this year I will be serving as the Testing Center and Student Support Paraprofessional. After relocating to Wisconsin in June 2019, I spent last school year at Nicolet serving as a Long term and daily substitute from December 2019 - February 2020. From March 2020 - June 2020, I served as the Work Based Learning/Youth Apprenticeship Facilitator for the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District. Additionally, last year I served as a volunteer wrestling coach with the Knights.
Prior to my relocation I served I spent 9+ years teaching High School College and Career Preparation, as well as Aerospace Science/Leadership Education (AFJROTC) as the Aerospace Science Instructor at Buckeye Union High School. While at Buckeye, I served as the Head Wrestling Coach for over 6 seasons, and as an Assistant Head Cross Country Coach. Prior to retiring in Arizona, I spent 26 years on Active Duty with the United States Air Force earning the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (Command Chief) serving in locations around the world.
I completed my Bachelor of General Studies (Humanities) from LA Tech University, my Master of Science Degree in Technology Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, and my Doctor of Education in Teaching and Learning (k-12) from Argosy University (Phoenix). I also earned three Associate in Applied Science Degrees from the Community College of the Air Force.
