Welcome to my home page!

I currently teach Global History and am a co-advisor for Black Student Union (BSU).  I am also an instructional coach for the district with a focus on equity and engagement.

My educational history includes:

  • B.A. from DePaul University in Political Science, minor in Sociology.
  • Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from UW-Milwaukee
  • Doctoral Candidate  - Urban Education Ph.D. program at UW-Milwaukee, specializing in Social Foundations of Education.   

This is my 11th year teaching overall, and 9 years at Nicolet. I also attended Nicolet High School as a student and graduated in 2003.

Please be sure to check Skyward for updates on grades and missing work.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns that you have.  This will assist you in following up with your student's progress in the course and keeping track of how they are doing on the standards for the course.  We have a school policy of updating Skyward grades for accuracy at a minimum once every 2 weeks for the course grade.
